Default Hood Liner

Has anyone bought a UNDERHOOD LINER, WITH CROSS-FLAG LOGO - GM (23489882)?

If so, is the white color painted or taped on? And how is it holding up in the engine heat?

Thanks,

Richard

I have one. It's painted--some sort of stencil, I suspect. It's just white on black. It's not worth getting. Sorry I did. In terms of holding up, i guess it does. I just went 4400 miles in less than three weeks, so several hours a day across the southwest, and I don't see a difference or any deterioration, but it's not much to begin with.

There's a lady here in Texas with a company called "Hoodliners by Paula". They are hand painted and she does awesome work! Look her up on her website

I think Paula retired.

I got the headliner the op posted and ended up swapping it out with the stock liner after I painted it. Don't bother with that one would be my advice.

Default hood liner

I found an airbrush guy nearby and had mine painted on. $125.00
Has been on for 10 months now. Still perfect. I suggest finding a local guy to do it. Very easy for them rather than buying one on line. Plus you can make any changes to your design as well.

I had a local guy airbrush mine for 50 bucks and I am very pleased. Nothing crazy just the flags. There are local guys everywhere who do it for less than the OM ones.

Default I would really like to do this

So how do you find "that guy" to do the artwork for you? Maybe someone knows such a guy in the Atlanta GA area.
