Default 5/15/17 TPW, check in!

It seems like there are quite a few of us with a 5/15 TPW, so I thought I'd start a thread to help pass the time!

Anyone have their order go to 3300 yet?

Ordered mine 4/1 and have a TPW of 5/15. However, when I called the museum to get the photo album they told me production of the car will start 5/11 and it'll be done 5/15. Hmmm hope the "never buy a car that was built on a Friday" is no longer true. As far as status couldn't tell ya. I checked on Kerbeck's site but it hasn't been updated since last Monday.

I am set for 5/15 and waiting for delivery in Colorado. My last ordered Vette was made on 5/10 and was driving it on 5/19.

Sorry, it was a crazy end of the month. I just got done updating and I'm packing up and going home for the night!

Default 5-15 build also

I talked with Shane and memorial day weekend will be extended to 5-30, no tours on Tuesday. So I opted for 5-31. Now I'm thinking wait, maybe 6-6 for pickup ( June incentives).

YASSSS! Got a VIN now.

Only about a month to go now.

Every little update helps the waiting and builds up the anticipation

How long is the assembly process? I'm at 3400 (saw this status Monday, but don't know when it changed to 3400). How did you find out that your specific car starts assembly tomorrow?

thanks

Ours (actually its my wife's) starts being built this afternoon. We are doing the Buyers Tour on Monday the 15th at 6am Shane and Lori said only about 10% of the build is today so we are not missing much with the plant closed to visitors this week. Will pick it up at the NCM on June 6 for the drive home to Indy. Black Stingray convertible, 7-speed, it will be fun !!!

The only way I'm aware is because of the photo album purchased through the NCM. They know, since the photographer has to be informed by the plant when the car will be going down the line.

Regarding length of assembly process, I recently read a post on here where someone said it takes 12 hours, start to finish. I'll make sure to ask my tour guide next month as that's a good question.

NICE! It sounds like our cars will be going down the line in close proximity to each other! I'll make sure to snap a photo of yours in Corvette Alley while I'm at the museum!

If you happen to see a AW Z06 with a black interior and spectra grey wheels could ya take a pick of that as well? It'll be mine waiting for delivery. When I called the NCM they told me it's slated to begin production today and be finished Monday.

Thanks !!
