Our cars are now priced on the inventory page and we'll have the home page updated tomorrow morning.

We never get the good incentives up here on Corvettes. The only one we've got going right now is $1500 off MSRP on in stock Corvettes. But most dealers up here carry very little in stock so it's difficult to find the right car that way.

I think everyone needs to remember that at the end of the day there is an abundance of Corvettes on many dealer lots and that despite incentives, dealer's will negotiate.
The average dealer mark-up, when I looked at Invoices when buying my 16' in 9/16 was approx. 10% when you take into account their hold-back and floor plan. Now getting a dealer to give up hold-back and floor plan isn't easy, but if the unit is an aged unit they will.
When I bought my 90.15k MSRP car in 9/16 I got 17,000 off. Just shy of 20% and that was w/ the 10% bonus tag, which the dealer had to be willing to put on the car.
IMHO, if you can negotiate and the car is in stock, you should be able to get 10-15% off w/ current incentives. Hence why I bought locally here in Orlando instead of one of the forum dealers.

What happens next week, are certain cars stuck with the tag and other not?
My take is GM's bonus tag has resulted in a $2k price increase. Oh well.
Off subject, but it really sucks that the GM's window stickers don't show options anymore. Makes it hard for the window shopper to make educated decisions.
Thanks.

Some dealers will use this bonus tag just like this.
Others will use the actual rebate amount (difference between 10% off and Supplier) and subtract this from their already discounted price.

Okay, I've read what you just said about five times. It LOOKs like the incentive means that you are buying the car for 10% off of MSRP then - assuming dealers offer a "supplier" price less the incentive.
So a $70,000 car will sell for $63,000 for instance. And I realized dealers have other ways of selling for more or less than that amount.

You only read it 5 times? It took me 20 times of reading the rebate guidelines to wrap my head around it lol.
So the actual rebate amount is the difference between supplier price and 10% off MSRP. So in the example I gave, the rebate amount is $2,996. The dealer can sell the car at any price he wants as long as it is supplier price or lower. If the dealer sells at supplier price, then with the rebate amount it's like 10% off MSRP.
So in your example, yes a $70k car would sell for $63k if the dealer were to sell the car at supplier price, then apply the rebate= 10% off.
Because this is so confusing, you will find most dealers will just advertise these bonus tag cars at a certain % off, worst case it will be 10%, some dealers will go higher if they want to cut into their profits even further.

Well, the in stock part is my problem. Last week, I was working on a dealer to dealer trade deal, and I trade in my car at my local dealer. I couldn't pull it off last week and didn't figure loyalty would change.
So your current deal appears to be 12% off with the bonus tag included? Your showing it ends 5/5/17. Is that because you have to apply the bonus tag this week, and your keeping it open which cars get the bonus tag as long as you can?

I assume, since you posted the same questions in another thread here, that I've answered them here?

Thanks for the info.
My take on pricing is sort of generalized. For example if I want carbon brakes the prices are about $7k higher this week than they were last week and this varies from dealer to dealer.
The window sticker I am talking about is the one on websites. Most of the window stickers on Dealer and GM websites no longer show the options.

djnice, I agree GM bonus tag resulted in 2000.00 increase at least for GM customers that ordered corvette and taking delivery in May. My order March 30 GMS pricing and what ever incentives that are available at time of delivery that I would qualify for. So with 2000.00 loyalty gone my car just cost me 2000.00 in May delivery. Unless I'm missing something in all these post. If my order was delivered April 30 car would have cost 2000.00 less than in May. Like you said oh well. I'm not going to let it ruin my CORVETTE GS buying experience GM all ready put a damper on that by not letting me order Build Photo Album.

For sure, life is too short to worry about loosing $2k on a $75k+ purchase. It will be interesting to see what you work out with the dealer.
My questions are to help me determine if I should move forward on an upgrade to Z06 now or just put it off. I had a pretty good deal worked out, but hesitated.

Good luck on making your deal for Z06. If your doing a trade may be dealer can sweeten trade value to close gap to still make It worth your while. Looking at your avatar if you keep what you have that looks like a great looking ride. Either way you win.

Kerbeck/MacMulkin - In NY, dealer savings (i.e., what you sell the car to me for) are not subject to sales tax, but manufacturers rebates are.
I can't tell from the pricing either of you list on your website, whether any part of that is rebate (like the loyalty was) or is it all dealer savings?
Obviously at 8.625% sales tax, it can make a pretty big difference.
Thanks.

Yeah my current GS is bad *** and I have no problems with it. Just keep thinking I want more power because I am crazy. LOL. Also, I keep thinking if I am going to upgrade its better to do it now before I rack up a bunch of summer miles.
