You can through the onstar app. They just require 1 kidney as payment.

You don't need a pay plan to be able to lock / unlock. That's part of the free basic plan that's included for the first 5 years. Not sure about remote start, since mine is a manual and doesn't have that option anyway.

On, and get the MyChevrolet App. It incorporates the OnStar app, but adds a few other things as well.

I installed the app out of curiosity but rarely use it. There is a bit of a delay when giving commands so using it to lock/unlock the car can be annoying. I have a manual so no autostart.

I use my phone when at the gym to unlock it when done. That way i don't have to bring my keys in with me. I always have my phone to listen to my workout music. Someday it won't work and I'll be screwed.

With the keyless start where do you place the keys in the car so somebody can't just walk up and open the door and drive away?

REMOTE LINK...is free with ownership and is a part of my everyday life , living in Florida having the car started (A/C will start also ) is a huge bonus!!
With this app you can see all the stats abut your car (Mileage, oil life ect..) Flash horn/lights, un/lock car doors, remote start (Auto). Othe feature are allowing to mess with on board wifi. If you have a certain level membership, which I do not , you can search map for directions then send to car nav.. Thiis level comes with new ownership for a few months so try it out newbies !! BTW oyu need to register with Onstar and use the same log on info for this app after you install it !! Enjoy

Just got a letter from onstar informing me my phone would no longer work with my chevy link. Need to upgrade my phone to make it compatible.

Using the OnStar app is one of the few ways to can actually lock your fob in the car, so I suppose you could put your fob out of sight (glove box, under the seat, center console, dash cubby…) and lock it in via the phone app, and take only the phone with you. Unlock via the app, and retrieve you your fob and drive off.
