Default My Chevrolet app navigation feature

I like the ability to search and send address to the online navigation system. My Onstar is about to downgrade at the end of the month and I am wondering if anyone knows whether this feature works without the navigation level of OnStar

This feature remains when the original OnStar trial expires.

But Android Auto is better. You can go to Google Maps on say you laptop/desktop, find places and send them as notifications to your phone. Then when you're in your car you simply select them.
