UK Thread - Goodwood Breakfast Club Supercar Sunday
Ahoy chaps! - took the Corvette to Goodwood (very famous old racetrack in South Eastern UK which hosts 3 or 4 very prestigious meetings over the season) on Sunday - had a great time: the car was photographed A LOT and also used by some of the Goodwood feeds!

some pros there too - got a lot of attention - I think because it was one of only two Corvettes there - the other was a C3 - you couldn't move for Astons, Porsches, Lambos - there were even a dozen (!!!!) F40s! ... and then of course the Paganis, the Veyron, the McLarens - P1 LM in the car park would you believe?

Cool the Corvette got attention. I wonder why GM didn't consider making a right hand drive version? There's a company that does it, but as I recall pricey. Anyway, I'd be geeking out on all those other stuff too. The only time I've ever seen anything like it was a south Florida car show...

Daffy - I'd guess the no RHD issue is economics - there's only a handful of c6/7s in the UK, and I don't think that number would go up enough if it was RHD to make it anywhere near viable economically to make RHD models. Mike - there is (AIUI) a UK dealer Clive Sutton?) that offers conversions of a lot of US models (Suburbans as well as Corvettes I think), but the cost is around £50K and up. I don't mind being on the 'wrong' side TBH :0)
