Melting Slicks
Dont recall the specifics, but there was something about a certain serial number block missing an inspectors mark on a rear suspension component. Perhaps that was it?

I can't yet talk of my C7 as I only have 46,000 on the clock.
But, insofar as Corvettes being run 100K plus without problems. I had one C4 that I put 186,000 miles on it before selling to a friend - she has 250K on it. Transmission was replaced about 175K.
My C6 had 126K on it. The sales manager where I bought my C7 bought my C6 for his mother who now has about 200K on the car.
Corvettes (six over the past 27 years) have been extremely trouble free for me.... I now have close to 700,000 miles in Corvettes.

2016 Z06, picked it up last day of January 2016. Only 6,200 miles in 17 months. I don't use it to commute, it is a weekend car. The longest drive so far was from Phoenix to Pahrump to the Ron Fellows Driving School on Memorial weekend 2016. I need to drive it more.

4600 miles in about a year on my '16. That includes 520 miles home from the dealer, and 520 miles round trip to Spring Mountain. I guess next year will be less, since I won't repeat those two trips...
I use this car for my daily commute: Two miles to the office, and two miles home. I get to enjoy driving it every day, and still have low miles!

I may have posted before, not sure...turned 89,000 on this morning’s commute. 2014 Z51/M7 Vin #3563.
I have had major rework ALL UNDER WARRANTY I must add.
3 Water Pumps
1 Headlight
3 Pistons w/supporting hardware
Clutch - whole assembly include slave cylinder, boot, flywheel, pressure plate, etc.
3 gears
1 rear differential
I have enjoyed sMile after sMile in this car for almost 5 years. Oct 20, 2013 - Present day. Enjoy folks!
edited to add: My car is completely bone stock performance wise, not even an air intake on it. Boy am I glad too when it came to warranty claim! I think I have about 15-18 more weeks worth of warranty (2014 5 yr/100K). I’ll take my risks after that...planning to A&A Supercharge it!!!

Dang it!
I originally posted at a smidgen less than 70,000, but then have since graduated to more than 90,000 miles.
Can I change my vote?
This would be helpful when I clock the big hundred grand.
