Way back in the old days (for some that may only be 10 yrs ago LOL) static in the radio that followed the engine RPM was usually a bad plug wire or antenna ground. Our C7's will definitely let you know with a ton of lights and fault codes about a bad plug wire or connection. I would probably put that one out of the way.
It may still be a bad antenna or connection.
Possibly a bad/loose ground wire someplace in the radio connections.
Maybe just a bad radio?
If it's constant and not intermittent, take it in and let the dealer T/S it. If it's only intermittent maybe you can chase it down; although if it's still under warranty at least get it documented.
