A little squat in the rear transfers more weight to the rear tires which helps a lot with traction. In an OEM MSRC car, you get much more of that in Tour.
On the DSC Sport MSRC controller, which many of us have installed, it's programmed with a "launch mode" that automatically softens the rear dampers momentarily when launching in Tour, Sport, or Track.
