Tired Tires
The OEM Michelins have come up craps. At 20K, it is no surprise.
What have you been doing as an alternative?
19x20 2014 Z51 sizes

20K....that's twice of what most got our of their C6 GS or Z with Goodyear's. 20K for MPSS OEM tires is a little short....sounds like some heavy footed driving. Most are getting 30K or more with no track time; I got 25K with about 12 track sessions.....I think that is damm good performance!
Is this an alignment issues wearing the insides of the front tires?

What is wrong with the OEM Michelins? GM and Michelin spent lots of time developing. The same width tires on my C7 Z51 produced significantly higher achievable lateral "g" force than the Goodyear's on my C6 Z51. Those lasted ~15,000 miles and the Firestones I replaced those with had about the same performance.
That was better mileage than the OEM tires I had on my '88 & '93 Vettes and much better than the ~10,000 I got on the sticky Continental tires installed on my '88! Those used tires didn't go to waste, they are tied in pairs near the end of my dock in the lake I live on! Have caught an 11 1/2 and 12 pound large mouth bass in the otherwise "no habitat for large bass" lake bottom!
I'll be happy with close to 20,000 with the wider tires on my new Grand Sport that finally has the tire width to match the car's power and suspension capabilities!

IMO 20K miles on high performance tires is pretty good.

Ok, Pap... Be honest now. What do you actually use the car for?
Do you really need 10/10s from the tire? Are you really trying to win the High Performance Drivers Event (HPDE) world championship?
Do you store your car away for winter like a squirrel stores nuts? Would you drive your car on a cold clear day if you could have reasonable traction?
Do you drive your car long distances where the risk of having a flat tire necessitates having run flat tires?
Answer those questions and you can get a recommendation.
I went a different way. I bought a set of winter wheels and all season (non run flat) tires with TPMS, so I can drive in the cold, and use the stock summer tires (RFT) in the summer. I figure that in winter, I'm not going to be driving farther than a plug and fix a flat wouldn't get me home. (or a flatbed tow truck)
So it really depends on how YOU use YOUR car.

OP, my stock Z51 MPSS have lasted 22k with aggressive driving and ~4 HPDE events. Alas, the inside edge of my fronts are starting to show belt despite getting the complimentary dealer realignment to factory specs at 7k miles. Regardless, I went with the newly released Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in 255/295. The reviews so far have the 4s with a slight improvement in performance in every measure (dry, wet, tread life, NVH) over the MPSS.

I also have a Z51 and in need of new tires...strongly considering the NON-runflat PS4S. I noticed you went up to a 295...did you consider a 305? Do you know if they will fit? Much thanks.

I did heavily consider the 305s, however there was no guarantee they wouldn't rub and I didn't feel like making a $600+ gamble. Some 305s fit fine, others rub, depends on the tire and the ride height (mine is dropped nearly completely on the stock bolts).

Tire Wear
My 2014 with the Z package is going on 16,000 miles on the Michelin PS2 ZR19 tires. Mostly town driving but seems like they could do better. Any suggestions? Speed rating on available tires are (BF Goodrich - W speed rating and Michelin - Y.)
With Limited highway driving, seems to me the difference might not be worth the wear cost (W speed rating is 45,000 mile warranty) vs. the Y rating of 20,000.
Dealer recommends the MICHELIN - PILOT SUPER SPORT ZP, which has the same speed rating (Y) as the less expensive PS2.
Input welcomed, please.
