You can do it yourself it's super easy.... If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself you can contact forum member Steve doten he can install or fix anything and he's in CT.

It doesn't really look like it could be any easier. Why not just do it yourself?

The hardest part is figuring out how to disconnect all the different electrical connectors. The mechanical part is easy.

No idea where you are in CT. but do have a couple places mentioned by others. "Allen_B" found a non-Chev dealer to do good work on his car: Sun Harbor GMC/Buick (not so unusual) in Old Saybrook;

and "BJ67" said he'd found a good alignment shop. Might ask them if they know of someone to install the MGW shifter or maybe they will. Name is Dayhill Automotive, in Windsor.

Might ask the question if you choose not to do it yourself.

Not sure if Steve still lives in CT but I will give you 2 other options

1. Corvette Center in Newington
2. Paul Koerner 'Corvette Mechanic " at Jackson Chevrolet in Midletown

I'm not far from you, Southbury. If you decide to do this yourself and get jammed up, I can probably help. PM for contact info if you would like to talk.

I'm in New Milford, I'll see how stock shifter feels, have a GT 4 and S2000, both are slick shifting vehicles.
Thanks everyone for suggestions and offer to help

Hi Rvazquez, it's going to be a 2018. Come to car show tomorrow at Bridgewater Fair Grounds, I'll look for a C7 if you show up

Yeah, you will probably want the MGW. I've owned a couple of S2000s and a Cayman with the Porsche Short Shifter. Stock C7 shifter is pretty good, but not in that league. I've driven L82Brake's GS with the MGW, and it's now on my list. Installing side skirts this weekend, one thing at a time.

I just sold my 71 Vert, Steel Cities Gray, it's still listed in this months Hemmings. Got a good price, so bought the 18, wanted a more everyday driver.
Let me know if you attend any local car functions, maybe will find you
