The C7 needs air intake in the front, someone says it looks awful, the car needs to handle as good as the ACR viper, oh.. the wing looks awful. What the hell, just let it overheat and let the ACR out handle it.
Cannot have ice cream with out the cake.
Car looks nasty, all ready to kick some butt, that's what the C7 needs.

Im typically on the conservative side of styling etc but I like wheels and wing. I think the whole thing looks fabulous. Im reserving final decision on appearance till I see it without camo and in person though.
I think I saw somewhere that GM had patents on active aero so I wonder if there will be some of that applied to the final year or two for the ZR1(maybe that big wing will go active like that on some Porsches, McLaren, and the like) or will it be reserved for the C8 upper models. I would probably opt for the active aero instead of this if I had a choice.

The wheels are in camouflage. Look closely at the lines.

GM puts new parts on the platform to make it do just that.
Then people complain about the aesthetics.

I wonder if this car will be track ready -- just like the Z06? I guess we'll have to ask Tadge.

Finalist 2020 C7 of the Year -- Unmodified
I just bought my Z06 knowing the ZR1 was coming to a dealer near you soon . Problem is it will be to expensive for my budget. I cant see GM discounting the ZR1by 12%-15% for at least 3 years. Buyers will pay a premium for the ZR1 and I don't like buying MSRP or a couple of thousand off deals. I am sure it will be a great Corvette and yes it will be faster than my new Z06! As long as the base C8 doesn't have more than 650HP when it arrives in a few years.

Here's why those rims may look familiar to some of you. I believe they appeared initially on the 599GTB. Might even be on the test zr1s as a friendly "middle finger" to the boys at Ferrari
In any case, it's a gorgeous car.

and I just noticed that the 1/4 fender vents don't have the "scoop" of the Z06/GS models. Just open like the 2014 car. Wonder if the scoop created too much drag?

I can't wait for this....it's going to be awesome! I'm glad a lot of you guys don't like it. It will make it a lot easier for us that do like it to get one.
