We're Lovin’ It: 2018 Corvette ZR1 Spied at McDonald’s

At least it has dumped the asinine looking 'spats' on the front fenders.
Oh...wait....this car isn't going to turn the corners at all; no front downforce. Didn't Tadge say the C7 Z06 needed the 'spats' for front aero downforce. Since GM eliminated them on the new "ZR1", I guess Tadge was feeding us a bunch of **** about their purpose on the C7 Z06.

How much...who knows?
HOWEVER, extending the front fender panels out properly (like every other car) would have eliminated any need for spats in the first place.
Just another cost-cutting move by GM.

I just think it was intentional and a good idea, not a cost-saving measure.
My proof? They already had to make custom Z fenders anyway, they didn't "save" anything.

I disagree, and think it's a clever way to give the car the aero benefit without looking like a greenwood Corvette. I can't prove any of it, though, so to each their own...

I love it all, except the wheels.

At first I didn't like the front fender spats, however after seeing some owners paint them Carbon Flash or install exposed Carbon Fiber, I think they look pretty good. However having wider fenders as in this ZR1 mule, is the best solution.

Uh, let's see. Camaro boss Al Oppenheiser and his guys are setting new top speeds at the 'Ring for the past two years. Tadge and his guys are making burger runs to Micky D's.
Yeah, I'm impressed.

Doubt there will be one without the wing. If you want a C7 without a wing, they'll gladly sell you a Stingray/GS/Z06.
