Default Problem with Controls for Heat/AC/Cool and Heated Seats

This has happened 4 times now. On start up the lighting and controls for the A/C, Heat, Fan and seats do not light up. You have no idea what the temp is set at for the A/C and heat. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Not sure there are lights on them except at night.

OK, here's a wild guess. When you've observed the problem, is the car inside a garage? And if so, is it sufficiently dark that the headlights come on immediately after start-up? If so, it's possible the you have the dash lighting turned too far down. When the headlights are illuminated the dash lighting dims to whatever level you set using the dimmer on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. When you then get into light that's sufficiently bright to turn off the headlights, the dash lighting goes to maximum brightness. As I said, it's just a wild guess.

Is this when you remote start?

If so, they do not show up until you press the start button.

In all other situations, unless you have turned all dash lights to zero, they should show up at least enough to be visible.

During the day, they are actually brighter (for all settings), BTW.

If they don't show up during in-car start, regularly, there is something wrong, and should be taken in to be diagnosed.

Dash panel lights are not turned down and it has happened when left outside for a few hours and the headlights do not come on at start up.

I suggest you pay a visit to the dealer if you are under warranty

I had the temperature display not illuminating when I owned my 2014, daytime driving so I don't know if the environmental controls were lit up or not. The malfunction always cleared when I restarted the engine. No issues with my 2017.

Once, when I started the car the indicator for the temp and the fan icon in the middle of the dash ***** failed to light; turned the car off, counted to ten and restarted it, all was right with the world and it has not done it since ('bout a month ago)....had the car in about two weeks ago to have a new exhaust system installed and he checked for codes, nothing.....not much help I know....
