Z06 front grill with no cameras.
My z51 has the front cameras on the grill, I want to upgrade to a z06 with no cameras.
The cost difference is a couple hundred not worth it to me.
Any issues installing a grill with no cameras on a car with cameras?

No, not at all. You can just zip tie the pig tails out of the way, maybe wrap the ends to keep the connectors clean. It seems kinda weird to do that though, it's a nice little feature.

15 months and I have never used them, that doesn't sound asinine to me.
Thanks for you helpful comments.

Where is the cheapest place to buy the Z06 grill? It's a small mod but looks to make a huge difference for the front end appearance. Also, is there a market for used Z51 grills? Just wondering how much you could sell your current grill for.

Sounds like my kind of guy.... Don't pay extra money for stuff you don't use or care about.
I special ordered my 2014 Stingray just to keep from adding $25,000 to $30,000 in options I did not want..
(Base 2LT, 7 speed, red calipers, Z51 spoiler, added Hurst shifter and Stage 1 splitter for $55K.)

I find it funny the "CORVETTE TAX".
Same work and material as other parts but since its a vette letsbcharge more!!!
If we all started not buying parts until the price was "reasonable" they would all not have a choice but price accordingly.

The front cameras on my 2LT Stingray have come in handy on a number of occasions. I'm very, very happy that I have them
However, some people, like the OP, don't like the look of the non-Z06 grill with the cameras. I totally understand that.
Personal preference is sometimes weird to people who don't understand what another person's preferences are.
OP, good luck to you with your new project. I think you've gotten some great advice already

Love my z06 grille mod, but good luck getting anything more than pocket lint for your existing grille.

I told my wife that one day I'll revert to stock, so it's "on display" in my basement.
I popped the chrome strips off the z51 grille and am in the process (when i get to it again) of painting them black and clearcoating them. They will come out really nice as I've done this on several other trim pieces on my other cars, but for now, summers are short. I'm busy enjoying my vette and Camaro on the weekends. The grille project will be added to my list of winter projects.

THOSE MF CLIPS ARE A NIGHTMARE TO GET THE NOSE OFF.
What a pain they are.... Had to walk away.

I remember 2 plastic clips up top, rest are all screws. However, I don't have a splitter, maybe that's the difference?

Spin them around in place, you'll see an opening for a screwdriver to be used to pop them off. If not, a cheap set of plastic trim removal tools will make it easy.
