So while looking to get my car wrapped the guy that does Xpel for the local Chevy dealer told me they don't make a kit for a Z51. Just the regular Stingray and the Grand Sport and Z06. How the heck are people wrapping their Z51 ? Isn't it the same as a regular Stingray?

Either he's got a poor sense of humor or he's an idiot. Yes, the z51 body lines are the same, and if he's not being 'funny', then "they don't make it" because he can't find a specific separate listing for it.

I have a 2017 Z51 and had no problem with Xpel doing my front end. Get out of there!

Not a stupid question, just a stupid person who gave you stupid info. With member consensus, Z51 and Stingray are identical as far as the body goes with the exception of the rear spoiler and front air dam.

The person who told you that is an idiot. He could just as well have said, "They don't make a kit for 3LTs" or "They don't make a kit for Corvettes with black wheels".

Thanks! He wasn't being funny so he must be an idiot! I thought maybe it was me. He said he couldn't do it because they didn't have a kit. Looking elswhere

Find another installer. My installer did my hood in two pieces because he said I had a stinger stripe when in fact I have dual racing stripes. Needless to say I never went back to him and worn others every chance I get.

If he really believes that you better get in your car and drive as fast as you can from that installer.

All he probably meant was there is no kit (item) to order specifically for the C7 with the Z51 option, since the body is identical to the C7 without Z51 option.
