Default Our Corvette Club Monthly Caravan.

Drove about 75 minutes to the Snook Inn, on Marco Island. Excellent drive, great food, and amazing views. One of our members has a friend on Marco, that has a fantastic car collection, and invited us to view. The cars are kept in his guest house!

Looks like a great time was had by all.

And, what a beautiful collection of cars. Heck, I can't even afford a guest house.

Wow... don't know where to begin. First, when I started reading, I saw Snook Inn and right away, I starting thinking why does that sound familiar? Then I saw it. Marco....ahhh..my favorite place. My family started vacationing there 40 years ago. We still have a time share (one week)on the beach. I came so close to moving there but only made it as far as Ft Myers. I moved away from Florida many years ago for my career, but still dream of someday settling in Marco. Back to the topic at hand, sorry OP..That car collection is amazing. Whoever Bill Young is, he's doing it right and living the life. Thanks for posting this OP... it made me smile. Ok, and a little jealous . :-)

Probably a replica or a backup, original might be in Indy Museum.

Is that the Bill Young who had a Chev dealership in Indy, who sold it to Penske? I might have bought a 69 Camero Pace car from him back in the 70's

Possibly, we were a group of 20 that he accommodated in short notice. I only spoke to him to thank him, and ask when the test drives began!

This link tells a lot.
