Default 2018 LT4 Builder Name Tag

I haven't seen these build tags since the C6 dry sump engines. Are these tags exclusive on the Z06 LT4 engines?

Yes. Most of the photos we have of our Z06s on our web site now include a photo of the Engine Builder's name tag on the engine.

Didn't this start after GM moved all the LT4 production in house at Bowling Green?

No. Technically, it started (I believe) with the 2007 Cadillac XLR-V models, and then the 2009 ZR1 - LS9 Engines - built at the Wixom plant.

The Performance Build Center (PBC) in Bowling Green only built the LT4 motor for the Z06/Z07 in 2015 and 2016. All the other LT4's were built in Tonawanda plant. Starting in 2017 all LT4's are built at the PBC.
