I know I've insulted your fan-boy ride, but I would love to know how you see me as the problem. I have paperwork to document every claim here.

Oh yeah......you're just a troll.

In fact you can check with the moderators. I have never asked for a thread to be shut down because someone is saying something about our dealership.

Keep your thread alive so hopefully we can get some kind of resolution from GM.

Impressive tactical move! We been more generals like you in our military.

I went through the BBB as outlined in your warranty booklet with my 16 stingray and within about 6-8 weeks GM bought my car back for exactly what I paid plus tax and tag minus mileage. Can only speak to my ordeal but I was impressed with BBB process. Most folks including me never read the little warranty booklet but it spells out in black and white if they can't fix your car after ample opportunity they will replace or buy back. Check it out and good luck.

FYI - I just found out that we were contacted by GM to send related documents about your car. That's usually the first step when going Lemon Law. We sent it over and they have everything they need.

They should be contacting all dealers who have worked on the car in search of documentation so touch base with those service managers to see if GM has requested info and verify that they have complied.

Yep that is what I had to supply to the BBB folks who sent to GM but also GM can plug in his VIN number and get all the info that is out there on his car. They don't have to contact anyone as you know. Agree that is first step and hopefully a speedy happy ending.

GM has countered with a $12K offer.

Tired of dicking around with them. How anyone can defend them is beyond me.

See ya in court...

12k for what? Hard to understand how good or poor the offer might be without a few details of what it is they are offering to do for you. Surely they are not offering to buy your vette back for $12k.

Basically a pat on the back for our trouble, and keep trying to fix it.

Again, the transmission has completely gone out (won't budge a 1/4") since their $8K offer.

No words.

Take the offer; another warranty repair attempt and turn around and trade in for another? Is that an option for you?

Hang in there and don't let them wear you down. Keep pushing for a buy back. Are you negotiating with GM directly or are you going through your dealer? I hope you are talking with them directly. The more serious the negotiation becomes, the sweeter the deal will get, so don't let them intimidate you. Just MHO. Good luck.

This is what I would do and no fee for a lawyer. The court room is probably the only place where A8 failure statistics would be exposed.

I think he just wants to be done, and I don't blame him even though I love my m7 C7. At least they get some of em right. (as I'm typing I'm reaching for the night stand to knock on wood which caused the woman to gimme a wtf look)

Not an option. Want to be done with GM. ZERO confidence this car can be fixed.

Directly. Next communication will be notifying them of which course of legal action we are taking.

I posted the same stuff here at the "Stingray forum". Received a PM I could 'no longer post negative comments' (I asked why because everything was verifiable).

Banned and all threads deleted this am after I posted their counter offer. They are covering up all the problems with the A8.

That site and mods have no integrity.

That's interesting, because I kinda looked at that site as the "kinder gentler" Corvette forum. I've seen stuff deleted here too though. Had my own stuff deleted a few times actually. Oopsy...

I don't see why anything that can be backed up with facts (paperwork) should *ever* be deleted, unless the forum owner and mods are being dishonest.

Which is exactly what I'm saying the SR forum is doing. They are covering up the cars issues. They have a "poll" going with only 3 people reporting problems, and I'm one of them. Compare that to here.

Anyways, glad this forum has integrity.

We will not pursue the arbitor route, but have filed all paperwork for the Lemon Law process in NJ.

Attempting to get a hearing. Paperwork is in.

Don't be afraid to go to arbritration if you have a solid case, gm doesn't want to arbritrate, they will settle. Even with lemon law, if gm wants to push it, you could still end up going to arbritration. I think i am correct on this from what i have read. Good luck
