Doesn't look like there's any airflow thru the vertical fins... the front of the bottom plate appears to prevent full flow of air thru the fins.. being one of the reasons for the diffuser to speed up the air to reduce drag along with creating down force.

http://www.racecar-engineering.com/t...-aerodynamics/

"The addition of the vertical ‘fences’ to a diffuser help to optimise the diffusers efficiency by ensuring that the air is drawn only from the underbody and does not spill in from the upper body surfaces."

Be Careful if you go to C7 Carbon web site. Got Virus
notice "Trojan - Malware detected " from my McAfee.
Hope they know they have an infection.

We are currently conducting digital wind tunnel analysis to ensure an increased air flow, making sure to maximize an outstanding performance benefit that the OEM spec diffuser will allow and still keep it usable for daily driving as well. Stay tuned for more updates

what else changed in those models? Airflow going into the car, over the hoodline, etc all changed. I find it hard to believe the rear diffuser created a thicker laminar sublayer. It almost looks like you're using different fluid or, I'm guessing, different velocity in your CFD modeling.

lol doubt you will get a response to this. I think 99% of these companies making "aero" components have no clue what effect they have. It's all for show, which is all most people are after.

Default thanks for your work on this

My 2016 Z07 is used almost exclusively as a track car and I regularly exceed 100 mph at the track. I am interested in this more from a functional point of view, wondering if it will help with downforce or if its mainly for looks. Let me know
