C7 cargo area, RattleTrap Extreme sound deadening
I'm OCD. this took about 14 hours over three days. All electronics removed. Cubby done. None in the battery well, didn't think the conductive film in there was a good idea.

Great job and I'll bet that deadening material on the wheel wells will be a huge quiet down. You're hired!

You're a more dedicated man than I am. I put a Weathertech cargo liner over the rear carpet and then stuck ten sheets of Hushmat--$60 from Amazon--to the rear bulkhead and called it good. (Easy-peasy, since the bulkhead carpeting just pulls back into the cargo area making it easy to work with the roof off and the seats full forward.) It took an hour.

You missed a spot.
Heh, heh. No, seriously, you should have (I hope you did) taken sound measurements before you did it, so you can properly evaluate the results.
I'm going to do that one of these days with my "drop-in" sound mat, to see if it really made much of a difference.

I haven't added any more yet, but there's a noticeable difference in the perceived noise level. I didn't do any measurements Others have made the dB measurements, showing big improvements. A 10 dB decrease, halves the perceived loudness. A 6 dB increases doubles the Sound Pressure Level. There are multiple methods to measure "quietness".
