Great Corvette Corral. 275 cars. GM did a great job. Doug Feehan made a nice presentation and answered a lot of interesting questions. Engineer from Bowling Green, as expected, would not reveal much about the factory other than it is shut down until November and tours are suspended indefinitely. Someone asked if they might build a Cadillac and he would not confirm or deny. Corvette drivers signed a boatload of posters, hats, fuel rail covers, etc. It was a great weekend.
Check out the sound of the Ford GT in the video. Sucks big time IMHO.

Great shots, and thanks for sharing. It reminds me of our May trip to COTA. It seems the traveling road show is similar at every WeatherTech event.

Excellent pictures, thanks for sharing them with us. I just finished watching the final three hours of the race ... on TV as I wasn't lucky enough to attend in person as you were.

Thanks for sharing the great pics! Most unimpressive exhaust sound from the Ford GT - sounds like a cross between a chainsaw and something else I can't describe.

You're right that the Ford GT race cars do not have what one would traditionally consider an aesthetically-pleasing exhaust note. However, after living, a few weeks ago, on the long, back straight at COTA in our motorhome for 4 days, they certainly were the most ear-friendly/quieter. The C7Rs and P1 Cadillacs are hands down the most painful.
My wife called them the Advil cars.

Don't get me wrong, I think they sound great, but they are the loudest on the track.

They do put on a good Corral experience at every race, I was at the Glen, Sebring 12 Hours in Mach and planning on Road Atlanta for the Petit. The Corvette brass are always there and all are very accessible and willing to chat about all things Corvette.

Wife and I are from NY and used to attend both the 6-Hour and Formula 1 Races... what a hoot! Back then (late 70's) the six hour found everyone chasing David Hobbs in a turbo'd Beemer... and the Lauda, Hunt, Andretti free-for-alls were incredible!
Is the "Bog" still active at the Glenn? Once saw a bus get burned to the ground there!
