Default 4th of July trip Mescalero, NM

Drove from El Paso Tx to Inn of the Mountain God's Resort this weekend and put 270 miles and finally went over the 500 miles on the Vette. Beautiful drive and the car worked like a fine engineering machine as it was built for. Here a some pictures of the trip.

What a great place to ride. We were stationed at Ft Bliss in the early 90s and made that ride often in our Z28. Now that we are older maybe we would consider a trip from Idaho back to Texas to visit friends and family...maybe! White sands is a great place to bust out your cam and snap a few epic pics. We used to ride out to TorC and the Mimbres Valley, great day trips in NM. Love them peppers and Anasazi Beans.

Excellent! Beautiful car. The first Vette I remember seeing as a kid was yellow and I still love seeing them!

Thanks!
