What interior do you have ? 1lt 2lt or 3lt

3lt you can just carefully peal off

1lt and 2lt you have to heat and very carefully peal off.

I have 1lt. I peeled the sticker off but the glue is on the visor yet. Maybe just put a new sticker on?

You have to carefully heat the sticker before removing it. There are many posts you can look at to give you instructions. Try doing a search.

If you go back and use heat make sure it's not too hot otherwise you will burn the visor.

And in either case, you're risking sticky residue left behind along with a faint outline of a rectangle. I made peace with the fact that we live in a society filled with mentally challenged victims who even require to be warned not to leave their infants alone to play in a washing machine or a drier. So warning stickers designed to stay on forever are now just a part of life to protect GM and all other businesses from perpetual victims who make a living suing everyone for everything. Learn to love them or buy covers from various vendors on this site. Otherwise, if you're picky, I doubt you'll like the results of removing them

I used a adhesive remover that was safe on fabric and it worked great. Thanks.

To get the glue off I put a paper towel on the visor and heated it with a clothes iron. Glue will stick to the paper towel. On my C6 I can't tell there was a sticker there. My wifes C7 still has a faint outline of a rectangle but it doesn't look bad. (Need to go over it again)

BTW this was the wifes idea.

I have the 3LT "suede" feel visors and heating with a hair dryer, slowly pulling the stickers and then a couple of brushes with my hand to reestablish the texture and I was finished.

You had no glue residue after removal?

GM put them on there so mine will stay and the owner in 30 years may be glad they are still there from an originality perspective.

Default Out of Sight

Guys next to me at the stop light are ogling our car. Love the HRE forged wheels. Wonder why everyone doesn't have red calipers? But they do not wonder about my sun visors. And neither do I.

In 30 years the car will be a brick. The electronics will have failed and there will be no replacements.
