These are BOTH members cars, so be kind in your opinions please.

I was considering adding the silver stripes to my car (the one without stripes) and found an almost identical car that already has them. Now I'm not so sure. I was always a huge fan of the blue Viper GTS with white stripes, but it may not translate to a torch-red Corvette. But maybe it does, I don't know.

I'm not a slave to popular opinion, but am curious what others think.

So, stripes or no stripes?

I'm a no stripes kinda guy. I like plain, but maybe a stinger stripe on hood is about all I would do. That's my 2 cents.

Although i'm not a big stripe guy I don't hate them. The car with the stripe has gray interior so the silver stripe goes well with it, not that it won't go with yours. White could be done as well as black or have you thought of doing a different shade of red to ghost it on there? I did the black stinger on the hood which would look good too.

In the end it is your car do what you like to individualize it as your own!

The silver against the red doesn't really do it for me, however I have seen other color combinations where I liked the strips. A black stinger would look better in my opinion.

IMHO stripes and decals are for race cars. I prefer a clean look.

I'm not big on stripes on Corvettes but I think the one in your example looks good, possibly because it has gray interior to go with them. I don't think they would work as well with your red interior. I like the suggestions for the black stinger. IMO

Dave I don't hate stripes but I LIKE it much better without JMHO! Some like stripes some don't . You will have the final say for sure!

The stinger stripe looks better but I find it takes away the awesome look of the vents on the hood.

There are already so many accents of black on the scoops, spoilers, etc, I just think a third color gets too busy for my taste. Again, your car, certainly your decision.
