All automatics:
2014 Z51 loaded Convertible 8,000 when traded - 2015 Z51 loaded Convertible 13,000 when traded - and now a 2017 loaded Grand Sport Convertible with 5,500 so far. We have been to Maine & back to MN with the '14, WA to CA & back to MN with the '15 and heading South with the '17 next month. Not one problem with any of them.

2016 base A8 with 6500 miles. Only been to the dealer for oil changes, and the stupid computer updates. The only aggravating thing to me is the A8 wants to drop into the V4 mode a lot. But that can be remedied by just putting the tranny into manual mode. It's a great car.

2018 , base A8 , shifts great, no paint issues, a real pleasure to drive ( pix posted under thread " new 2018 a couple of surprises.....)
HOWEVER,
2015, base A8, 32000 miles 2 TC replacements, one complete new transmission , and replaced both fuel rail covers( corvette script paint flaking off) belt tensioner, drivers seat trim, drivers seat back cushion, roof halo weatherstripping ( coming apart at corners new design of replacement fixed the issue), 2 rear axle half shaft replacements, repair of bumper cover damage done by Stingray Chevrolet in Florida during a TC replacement, 2remaining defects at time of trade.
Fingers crossed on the new2018, love the car.

I'm seeing all these posts and threads about owners having issues with A8 transmissions, power steering, radio bass causing damage to door skin (whatever that is). I must be the only one completely satisfied with my C7's. Maybe after driving older Vettes over the years, I've come to appreciate the advances made to the new Vettes. Or maybe I've been lucky.
The Grand Sport has been back once to have the camber set to low end on the broad GM spec. Came with 4 wheels ranging from -1.4 to -1.7 and left with all at the low end of the spec, -0.6 to -0.8. I don't track and wanted best tire wear possible. Done at 400 miles on Warranty.
That bass thing was a strange post! Apparently if you play your sound system very loud the door panels vibrate! Just image your ear drums!
At first I thought they were talking about "fish," so instantly thought of the two biggest I caught off my dock!
That is a Large Mouth Bass; 12 lbs
Caught Two Years Ago; 11 1/2 lbs, Scale in Hand. She Went Back In! Both Caught From My Dock - Over 5 Years part. Note ultra light spinning rod/reel on ground to right of pic. Use 10 lb test as most fish caught are only ~2/3 lbs!

The VAST majority of C7 owners are happy as clams with their Vettes and haven't had major calamity with their cars.
The internet is where people come to vent their frustrations with the products they buy, politics, mother-in-laws, ingrown toenails, etc.
It's Sunday...go out and enjoy your C7.

The Z haterz will label you all fanboys and apologists for actually liking your purchase!
My car isn't perfect. There are a host of features I think it lacks and a handful of features I wish were done better or differently, but on balance it's a spectacular car, and if something breaks, I'll get it fixed! Fortunately for me, only a single dealer trip has ever been required.

2016 A-8 Z-51 Mag ride (love that)
8800 miles on A-8 no issues. Had three recalls current one for trunk opening issues. First two were fixed at the same time. Did not take long.
Hasn't really bothered me much. We both love the car. Fun to do things to it. I have added led lights front side and back. Side skirts etc.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...1&d=1500861038
This is probably the first car that I ordered and could say I would do exactly the same thing especially the Corvette museum delivery.
