exhaust
Hi Guys,
I just bought a 2017 Stingray with the regular exhaust and I would like to make it sound like the performance system, is there anything I can add to it to make the sound more throaty. I went on line and checked for OEM parts and found actuators item # 22839592, would this do it. Would appreciate any help,
Thanks guys,

No, because you also need different mufflers w/ the valves, software and wiring to tie it into the mode selection system and touch screen. It would be a very complicated retrofit, and I've never heard of anyone even trying it.
You're better off purchasing an after-market exhaust (e.g. Corsa, Borla, Billy Boat, etc.), but you will be loud all the time.

I installed the Corsa Extremes w/their double helix X-pipe. It sounds better and you can control the volume with the pedal. I have/had the NPP, which this set-up disables its functionality. You will, however, have to retrofit the AFM valves on the Stingray, but it's easy.
There are many other exhausts available, i.e., Borla, MagnaFlow, Akrapovic, Billy Boat, MBRP, etc. You could even Frankenstein the NPP muffles, which are often available in the for sale section, but you would not have the ability to control the volume. As such, I wouldn't recommend as there are much better options as mentioned above.
