Thought of offering 20 below book, so to pay for new rims,tires, and erase the ugliness. Probably have problems with suspension cause of those rims.
Don't know where you're getting your "book" but that thing (without the gold crap) is a $35-36,000 car. Dealer probably gave $28 for trade-in.

It's their "book", this used manager is in a world of his own, own book value, etc. Tried to hit full book value on a branded title once. Then when asked about a trade, had the gall to say GM didn't make a 4LT in 2008.
All the gold stuff just accentuates all that's ugly about the C7.
Yea, I was thinking the same thing. I have yet to see a C7 in any color I like. The lines on the whole car just look wrong to me, not enough curves, too many angles.

They are starting to grow on me looks wise, there is one that comes to the local cars and coffee, white car with black wheels, tinted lights, windows etc. and the black diffuser area, car looks really good, also a few of the blue with black accents looks good, but a few colors the cars still look kind of hideous, not to mention under hood appears to be a nightmare to work on
