Rear sound deadening in convertible

Harvey,
At highway speed i measured the Z06 vert as 1dBA quieter than the coupe and was able to attenuate it an additional 5 dBA via crazy cowboys extreme kit (about $700 to purchase and pay someone to install) the block it kit (about $250) and sound proofing cargo mats i set on top of the carpet (about $75) and found all three contribute about the same amount of noise reduction. I lowered tire air pressure to 28 psi.
It makes the stereo easier to hear and sound better, can carry a conversation, but not Lexus quiet. You will notice the difference but it is not huge. On a rough surface interstate the car still gets noisy and and smooth fine surface interstate it is nice and quiet. You can still hear the exhaust ...

My 17 GS convertible is surprisingly quite except for the noise of road trash hitting under the skirts. However I much rather hear that than sound of the trash hitting sides of the car.

Seems silly advising Harvey
The man has forgotten more about Vettes than I'll ever know.....runflats are just plain noisy, no, whether GY, Michelin, etc.?

No, I don't find the OEM PSS ZP any more noisy than the non-runflat Michelin AS3+. I have a set of each, and I run each set 6 months a year.
