Before I watched the video, I thought this looked pretty dumb. But it's actually pretty slick. Unfortunately, I think the black handle would stand out like a sore thumb against my DSOM car, and any effort to paint it myself would probably turn out even worse. If you have a dark color car, though, pretty cool idea.

I'd put it on the passenger side since no one seems to know how to work the stock handle.

In the video, the gray car looks like the recesses ("cups") behind the door handles are black.
Or is that just the lighting?

I like it, Chip. I'll admit to forgetting it's there a few times. Just a suggestion....it seems to me the 'handle' could be a little shorter. I have to be careful not to scratch the paint in the opening, when trying to get my fingers behind the black handle.

Ordered! Slick idea, blends in well with the look of the existing pocket. Stops friends and family from fumbling around and possibly scratching the paint.
Really hope it's all black powder coated now. Pretty sure I'll like it either way, but will blend in much better if all black.

Before and after pics below. I know she's filthy, I DD and today we had a pretty good wind/rain storm on my way home from work. Hard to see in the last pic, but my only complaint is that you can clearly see the silver hardware when walking up from behind the car. I'll take them off and shoot them black, but wish I would have waited for the next batch.

Got my set today, quick shipping! Install was ridiculously easy, took maybe 15 minutes. Looks good on Arctic White, blends in very well with the black and white theme.
Before and after pics below. I know she's filthy, I DD and today we had a pretty good wind/rain storm on my way home from work. The first run of several hundred were done with stainless hardware.
We agree with you, the next batch will be black
