Hangin' in my garage tonight, thinking of a favourite dog that had to be put down today (it was overdue). Apologies for the cel phone photo.

Great looking Vette. Always a sad time when you have to put a pet down.

Boy that's a tough day, I'm sorry for loss. Our dogs are such a part of our life- I miss them when we leave for trips without them. It's not fair their lives are so short.

They just don't get to live long enough but I believe we will see them again someday AND I LOVE THEM ALOT MORE THAN MY CORVETTE !THEY ARE DEFINITELY PART OF THE FAMILY! TWO OF THE BEST FRIENDS I HAVE HAD IN THIS WORLD! !
The yellow lab is 3 years old !
The Chocolate lab lived two days before she was going to be 13 but she got so bad I would never make her suffer another day It happens so quick when they are nearing the end of their life span.

Cats and dogs have been part of my family for decades.
When I lose one it is like part of my soul is ripped away forever.
I still grieve for them all.
Good advice, but it's hard to do sometimes.

Sorry for your loss, Jacob. That's tough to swallow.
Three years ago, one of my favorite aunts passed away after a long battle with cancer. I had just flown from Texas to Chicago that afternoon to pay my respects and attend the funeral a few days later. That same morning, I had let my sick dog out into the yard to run around before I left. He had a doggie door and would come back in when he was ready. He, too, was battling cancer for less than a year or so.
When I finally arrived at my aunt's house, my wife called me to tell me she had found our dog had passed away laying underneath one of the master bedroom's window (one of his favorite spots to chill outside). I was devastated. I didn't know which death hurt more. I had that dog for 10 years and loved him endlessly. Just thinking about him now still bums me out. Since then, my wife and I have bought 2 new dogs and cherish every minute they are around.
Hang in there. It gets better with time..... slowly.
P.S. - I love your car!! if I didn't already own a AW, I would be all over the AB.
