Wrapping Exhaust
Hi Guys,
So I am about to order some black exhaust wrap for my Kook LT's & X-pipe. I am trying to find out how much wrap I need to order to completely wrap the LT's & X-pipe. The product is showing 2 inches in width and 50ft for length. Has anyone wrapped their exhaust in the past that could give me a rough estimate of how much I need.
As Always Thanks In Advance

If you wrap the headers, use the titanium exhaust wrap. The black wrap tends to look like an eye soar after a while.
Personally I recommend ceramic coating the headers. It would be ideal if you could find someone locally to coat them.
It might be a debatable topic, but it will radiate less heat into the engine bay, and probably extend the life of the plug wires.

100 ft. of 2" wide to be safe.

So I have heard if you spray the wrap with silicon spray it will last longer.

Melting Slicks
Do any parts have to be removed in the exhaust wrapping process? I just received my DEsign Engineering catalytic converter heat shield. I'll put it on when I have my car up on the fit at my next oil change.

Also, with fiberglass wraps, be sure to wear nitrile gloves and soak the wrap in water before wrapping the part. It helps from getting fiberglass all over you.
