FWIW, although the last rebate seemed to exclude Amazon, I mailed in my receipt and got my full rebate for it without a hitch. It was also the cheapest (or about the same as Walmart) at the time.

Dave you were lucky - I tried that last time in the spring and they refused the rebate from Amazon. YRMV. That would be great if they now honor it. I think that Sprawlmart gave free home shipping if your bought $45 - but as I only needed one jug and they did not ship the filter for some reason. So I just put the bag over my head and went to see all the wonderful Walmart Shoppers.

just got my $40.00 rebate from Wal Mart purchase. 2 lots oil and filters. Oil is on sale 5 q for $22.00, Filters $10.00 got 5 back from each.

I received my rebate this past Monday on a 5 quart jug that I bought at Walmart. I think it took about six weeks to come in.

It appears that They don't accept mail in rebates anymore, only on-line rebates. At least I couldn't find a way to print off the rebate form from their website.

EDIT: my bad, I wasn't looking in the right place. I just printed off the rebate form and ordered two 5 quart jugs of 0w40 oil at $22.88 each and two Mobil1 M1-113a oil filters at $9.97 each from Walmart. Free shipping..

So, with sales tax included and the $34 in rebates I'll have $30.18 invested in an oil change in my 10.5 quart dry sump Z06(C6) and will have a left over filter to use for my next oil change.

Let's see, just bought 2 jugs from Walmart, $46 (includes tax), $6 AC Delco filter, minus $24 rebate = $28
Local shop charges me $20 labor to do oil change.
$48 total for oil change once a yr, SWEET!!!

It's been activated every spring and fall for several years, so feel relatively confident you can pick it up again next spring. Once started it lasts a couple of months, and it's typically reported here by someone when it does.
