Just a heads up Mobil 1 has the $12 per 5qt jug of Mobil1 rebate on again from August1 - October 31. You can claim up to two 5qt jugs for a total of $24 per rebate. You can scan your receipt and fill the rebate out online or print it and send it in. It takes about 6-8 weeks to get your check but they do send them out.

the $17 rebate w/filter is a great deal, makes the M1-113 half price ($9.97 @ Walmart).

They did state they won't be honoring Amazon purchases last time though. Not that it really matters since Walmart.com offers free 2-day shipping.

Probably because the 5 quart Walmart jug is already $12 cheaper than the parts stores that charge $7/quart.

I received my Mobil 1 rebate check last week, from the oil I purchased at Walmart.

Although Walmart isn't listed as an 'authorized retailer', Amazon is specifically called out as not an acceptable retailer.

Yes, WalMart qualifies. The list you are probably referring to on the M1 rebate site says "Participating retailers include," which is not exclusive of others. On-line sellers like Amazon are said to be excluded, however. I've purchased six 5-qt. jugs from WalMart over the past 2½ years with no issues with the rebates. Always purchased from a Superstore, however, and never on-line--so I'm not sure about Walmart.com purchases.

I check the website every time I walk past Mobil1 at Walmart. Looks like it's time to stock up again. Oh, and I always buy mine at Walmart and have never had a problem with the rebates.

I too have gotten a rebate when I bought from Walmart. But I have always gone to the store. Now Walmart is competing with Amazon, and two jugs qualify for free 2 day shipping. Has anyone every order online from Walmart and had the rebate honored or not?

I've been buying my Mobil 1 from Walmart.com and the rebates have been honored. Can't beat the free 2-day shipping plus not having to step foot inside that chaos!

Well, the rebates are processed up in Grand Rapids, MN so you can't expect too much!

You can claim up to two rebates per event, but each must be submitted separately. If you submit only one rebate you'll only get $12 back. I usually buy two jugs on one receipt and scan it. Then, circle each jug separately and digitally using Photoshop and save two separate files from that one scanned receipt. Without PS I would circle both and submit the same receipt for both rebates, as that's the only way I can think of to do it.
