Must be the color!!?? Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic

As a 2LT it does not have some perhaps desirable luxury features and it does not have Mag Ride.... your value scheme not mine, but is it the more unique color that has your attention!!??

Us "special, down here" folks can get that info off the VIN by going to a Chevy (GM!?) dealer and thanks to the magic of the Internet and GM systems, all is revealed.... at least all the took place at a Chevy/GM Dealer....LK

What are you guys seeing that I am missing here? Everything was dealer-performed maintenance/recall/warranty type issues; nothing out of the norm. The things it had performed are all well-known and documented revisions from the early models.

Regardless, I'll give it a real hands & eyes-on evaluation in a few hours.

Point well taken, however in my case I go the least risk approach whenever possible and would rather deal on a car that did NOT happen to have those various incidents happen to it. Mine didn't, for example!! Just trying to factor out the "look at that color" factor from the buying decision. Some nice alternatives right here on C7's For Sale.... with MRC.... and at a lower net cost when you can buy private party vs. dealer (likely avoiding sales tax.... State by State can vary)..... LK

Oh, one issue this car did not have, the common dry-sump oil overfill scenario before Chevy revised fill from 10.3 down to 9.8 qts, and then mandated the 500-mile oil change. Just sitting here brainstorming...

Have a specific goal in mind. Want an auto z51. Going pro charger and stroker so I want the ediff for drag. Wanna go for na record then blown non z06 record. I just sold my 9 second c5z to start this project. Have a few videos on my youtube channel...(1fastgaboi) is the channel name. I'm gonna detail whole build from bone stock runs to just tune, then converter all the way to built and blown. That's plan anyway get it well into 8's hopefully

I AM BACK!!! I spent about 45 minutes with the car and the owner of the dealer, then had to run the typical afternoon errands, but now I'm home putting my report together for Joe with various pictures, etc. I won't post pictures here since it's soon to be his car and not mine, unless he wants me too. Overall though, this car is in very good condition! This car was traded in by a military couple from San Antonio, TX directly to the selling dealer for a Tesla Model X so it's not some shady auction car. The interior was flawless. I mean that too. I couldn't find any wear marks of any type in the cockpit or trunk area; not even an elbow indent in any of the armrests. Everything works as intended (AC, seat ventilation, navigation, radio, etc.). The exterior had minimal rash, especially considering the miles, and nothing I would consider out of the ordinary. The headlights looked great and the front bumper and wheels showed no signs of ever being curbed. The rear tires are a recently replaced set of OEM Michelins. The front tires are the factory set and will need to be replaced within a few thousand miles. All appear to be wearing evenly across the tread though. The engine was exactly as the LT1 should be, and the transmission shifted precise (smoother in Tour, firmer in Sport) with no hesitation or hunting. Low speeds were fine and experienced none of the complaints some people have with the A8. We started from a cold start so it wasn't previously warmed or anything of that nature. NPP exhaust was functioning as designed. The car does have the optional navigation w/PDR. No MRC, but the Z51 shocks ride about like my Z51 does in Sport mode. The brakes were smooth and strong. It's due for an oil change, but oil level was perfect on the dipstick and was not excessively dark. The dealer will be giving it a full detail (interior/exterior/engine) and an oil change before Joe comes for it, but otherwise, it's ready for the trip home in my opinion. Anything I missed?
