New custom calipers on my GS
Since new, I've wanted to change my calipers to something with a little more POP as the black factory calipers seemed to get lost. IMHO, the big C7 brakes are one of the most beautiful features of the C7 and need to be seen. Toyed with lots of different colors but ultimately decided to go with polar white from Prismatic powders. PW was an almost perfect match to AW. Here are the results. Very happy with the outcome to say the least. The coater I used was out of state and was great to work with.

Very nice and unique. Did they clear over the Corvette lettering? Also, did you have down time or was it a core swap?

That looks amazing! Hope you changed pads too. They aren't gonna stay white for long if not.

Thanks for the props. Yes I did have them clear over the logos to seal them. The letters are actually powder as well. I am also running Z26 pads. Would not have tried this with factory brembo pads! I'm also ceramic coating them. They've been on for over a week of daily driving with one wash and look flawless so I'm optimistic it will be ok. Doesn't hurt that I pull the wheels regularly to clean in there too. As for the core swap, I was able to make a deal with a close by fellow member who had purchased a set of red calipers for his car and decided to trade his in on another car. The powder guy I used is in TN. Turn around was about a week. The whole thing went very smoothly and the calipers looked like a work of art when I got them back. Per my request, he even did the crossover lines in matte black for a nice added custom touch.
