Default Bin Buddy review

Although I love supporting forum vendors, be sure to search eBay and Amazon before purchasing. The price vendors want for this thing is high. With that said, the quality and fitment was spot on. Very snug, almost like it snaps into place (it took a little force).

C7 Bin Buddy cubby shelf...OOOOOH AAAAAH!

The shape of the cubby is definitely irregular which I did not realize. Looking at the finished product and the small details that went into it, the price I paid doesn't seem too horrible all things considered I suppose. I would say it should also include felt for inside the vertical walls though; I might remove it to add that myself. If nothing else, it would prevent noise or wear marks from sunglasses sliding around the lower section.

Any other vehicle besides the Corvette, the bin buddy would cost 10 dollars.

I was thinking about designing and 3d printing one of these, but the only thing I store in the cubby is my sun glasses so I don't really see the need.

Maybe I'll design one in sketchup and print it just for fun...

Thank you for the detailed review on this complex, hard to install item.

I had mine installed upside down.

I made one out of cardboard and it worked great. But I bought a pretty one from the forum vendor.

Blah, blah about cost. The Bin Buddy is well worth the cost and is high-quality item. You can't get a decent restaurant dinner for 2 for that price.

Knock yourself out on making it yourself, if stuff like that is your hobby. If your time is more valuable spent on other things, then add in the hourly cost at your annual income level and look at how much your DIY device ended up costing.

Well to be fair not everyone would consider it an even trade for a shelf in their cubby vs a restaurant meal for two!

There's only one reason I wouldn't buy one, and it's the rant in the for-sale thread about how you're not allowed to talk about the price or the product, just "shut up and advance the sale or go away".
