C5 to C6 now to C7 ?
My 2010 C6 is starting to show it's age and am starting to think C7. I am looking at a 2018 1LT, what are you thinking to pay for this. Local dealer is at $57067. with auto trans and performance exhaust. My 2010 is a 3LT and I don't use the nav. or HUD so don't feel I'll miss not having that.

My first Corvette was a 2003 C5. I traded that for a 2013 a few years ago. Sold the 2013 and bought a 2016 A8 with NPP exhaust. I love it. I say do it. You will love the road trip.

Mine has the HUD and just not that impressive. Mine is a 2LT which has a few other creature comforts but no navigation which is another unnecessary feature unless your sense of direction is terrible or your phone is flip. The 1LT is pretty basic but functional and the the 3LT is a bit too much. Probably save you a bunch. All comes down to comfort and money, not necessarily in that order. Still a vette!

Started with a 00' Vert Z51 ( still have it) Got an 05' C6, Traded for an 06' 2lt C6 Sold it for the 14' C7 Sold that and now have the 15 3LZ Z06.....
Cut out the middle man if you like power. The Z06 is Wicked fast stock.

Or is the $57K number after tax, fees, etc?

$57K is too high. You should be able to do better. Granted, with the plant currently shut down a number of dealers have decided to raise prices closer to MSRP, there are still a number of dealers who've decided to sell their inventory to build their allocation for the future. Also, the forum dealers are continuing substantial discounts. Take a look at their inventory.

Love it, needs clay bar and Adams Americana wax before trip. Got to look at the stickys to get up to speed on Android Auto, where do you connect your phone USB and place your phone?
