Default My custom Corvette clock and saying hello - New Owner

New member and wanted to say hello. I never owned a corvette and never even sat inside one before my test drive. I bought the only corvette I sat in. I actually have some mixed feelings about it, perhaps I would of gotten it sooner and maybe its a blessing I didn't. Love how the z06 looks, so I will get used to the power on the base first before contemplating my next move. Telling myself, I saved that money for the C8 down the line. Also, this is a present to myself, for my TourDe40! To help me cruise into my 40th this Sept. I have been driving it everywhere outside of boring places like work. Wife approved. Thanks for letting me talk....

Other cars I considered, Porsche 911, Audi R8, Viper, Hellcat....

I made a clock to decorate my garage and make the car feel at home. Got a generic clock, and ordered a decal online. My budget was $20 to make one. I came under.

I'm in the Texas, DFW area. Running around town and sharing my cruise on instagram Xjunoadmin , Let me know if anyone wants to grab a beer!

Congratulations, and welcome to the Corvette family. It's a beauty in Blade Silver, but some may say I'm a bit biased.

Congratulations on a great looking car. I also think you did a terrific job in putting that clock together.

Thanks for your garage view, I love the floors! I still have my childhood corvette models, and I'll put them up soon! Nice space you have there, sweet vette! Funny thing about that pic... a shopkeeper walked by and said "I don't think the owner wants fingerprints on the car." ....it was nice to respond with "I am the owner." I invited some ladies to take some selfies. I thought about getting this and that for the car to protect it(clear bra, xflim....), but I'm like...I'm just gonna drive it and put it towards a C8.

Well I'd probably allow those kind of prints on mine

Nice silver C7. I also personalized a clock. The motor died on an old clock. I ordered a new motor, took a picture of my 2015 SG and printed it out on gloss paper and attached the photo to the clock. Easy to do.

clock by the mirror.

Love the idea of the photo clock. Perhaps another project for the kids room. Thanks for the share.
