Default C7 Grand Sport Roof Rattle

So just today I am getting a noticeable roof rattle from my Targa top. Before I run to the dealer, can anyone be kind enough to try to advise some simple tricks or suggestions on what might help . Please realize, I am not a mechanic, so it must be fairly simple . I was not blessed with a mechanics touch! As always, Thank You in advance!!!

Is it coming from the top or from behind the top. When I picked up my 15 Z06 I had sort of a scritching noise that sounded like it was coming from the passenger side of the roof. The dealer mechanic worked on it quite a bit but couldn't get it stopped. Then he took another mechanic for a ride with him and they localized the rattle to the right side interior quarter panel that goes around the side window. I could have sworn the rattle came from 4 ft further to the front but they pretty much eliminated it but it still does make noise once in a while on certain bumps.

O rings on the front pins
ACDelco PTFE lubricant on all seals
Tighten rear latch one turn.
There are detailed threads on this issue.
My top has similar issues especially in hot weather.

Has anyone tried to use then felt tape on some areas of the roof?
Also shouldn't a 2017 already have the 0 rings on the front pins? I think that bulletin came out in 2015.

No O rings from the factory but it will have the new redesigned front pins. The O rings have worked on some cars but not all. Some owners have installed 2 rings on each pin. I am using 1 ring on each pin and lots of lube. It's better but still not completely quiet.

On the GM bulletin for squeaky roofs on the C6, they recommended Superlube paste (PTFE) on weatherstrip for a couple of years, but switched back to the good old dielectric silicone grease because the PTFE stuff would slowly turn into a gummy squeaky creaky gooey mess. I had a tough time getting it off to revert to the DSG.

Is GM recommending the PTFE now on the C7?
