I sit in my garage for hours since getting my new vette, I even bought a new comfortable chair. My wife thinks I have a new "love", since I don't sit on the couch and watch the news as much as I use to. I open the garage door and just sit there enjoying a cup of something(non-alcoholic, since I don't drink). I'm thinking of buying a tv tomorrow, to mount in the garage. Has your vette had the same effect on you? I imagine this will wear off, but for now I'm enjoying every minute hanging out in my garage. I've cleaned all the brake dust of the rims, I do it every time I drive it. Did it twice today, sitting in the garage now as I write this post. Yes, I know it's Friday night and I should be out somewhere, wife is tired from a rough week, I'm getting there, but for now I'm enjoying relaxing with my new "girlfriend".

I stare at mine all the time I'm outside in the back yard drinking beer.....wishing it would turn into a Z06 . I have chairs and stuff setup out on the back patio, some out door speakers etc.. I do like admiring the car, but I like driving it a hell of a lot more

I stare at mine a lot too. But just a little advise-don't do it too long. Just remember.....happy wife, happy life.

Lol! Good advice, but my wife said, "what ever makes you happy honey, I'm tired and going to bed". Just me and the chocolate lab, relaxing in the garage.

I understand exactly what you mean. My wife tells some of our buddies that I'll probably be out in the garage rubbing on the Corvette later. She is correct. I really enjoy it.

Nothing strange about it. I have a nice TV and comfortable chair. I actually watch most of my TV in the garage but not because of the Corvette as I have had many different cars in there. Of course ai ususally have Velocity or something similar on and plenty of beer in stock since I don't drink any soda. On frequent occasions neighbors stop over to help recycle aluminum with me or I go to their garage to recycle theirs. Most of my friends have TV's in their garages.

Melting Slicks
I got a tv in my garage and I hang out messing with the cars quite a bit, or just sit next to the cars drinking beer/wine and watching motor sports ect. Good to know its not unusual.

Bought a extra chair if my wife wants to join me, so far she hasn't. My neighbor came over for a spell. He still can't believe I switched from Porsche, but he loves the New C7, but he is a German(BMW) car guy.

My wife is staring at it when she is in the garage. She walks around it to get different perspectives. For me, I have to drive it. I find any reason to drive it. Wife finally drove it tonight, took the top off and cruised the main strip after an ice cream stop. Think she is starting to feel it as well.
Last thing I do every night is flick on the garage light and take one more peek till the morning.

Gonna have to one up ya OP.
after a solid 80 hr work week I brought mine to my best friend's shop tonight. I was supposed to park it on a lift and start the work tomorrow (new ceramic pads, side skirts and compound and opticoat my rim Barrels since the wheels are off PLUS install my new Suede steering wheel and shifter). Instead I just couldn't help it.
the shop to myself and I went at it lol...
Shop is packed for the night. Start again in the AM..
Seeing stables like this all the time but i still stare in awe of this supercar.
sometimes I get envious of some of the insane garages you guys have. But them I think... none of you have this.. keys to a 7000sqft performance shop with five axis CNC machine an awd mustang dyno private track events magazine shoots etc etc .. so take that lol

Yep, I totally "get" the "garage thing"!
