Grand Sport tires
I just transformed my 2017 Grand Sport convertible from a Fred Flintstone ride to an awesome GT. Replaced the rock hard Michelin with
Nitto Invo. 285/30/19 front 345/25/20 rear. What a transformation. The Nittos are exactly as advertised.

↑ Why the downer? That same thing can be said about any non-runflat tire. It's been discussed/debated many times on here with many preferring run flats and others preferring not to run them. As with anything, there's always pros and cons to be considered by the person who is "paying" for them.

Been using non-runflats for over 15 years and probably 100K+ miles. Never had a flat. Over 12K miles on my C7 with Conti nonrunflats. Very pleased.

I had nitto invos on my 2010 GS and when I sold it last year the tires had almost 40k miles and still had plenty of tread left on them. Definitely a softer ride but there was a definite loss of traction.

You have to decide what you want your car to be. If your tracking the car the majority of the time OEM Michelins work, however, if your using your car as a GT (touring) got to get rid of the run flats for comfort sake. Fortunately it's your choice

This is this members FIRST POST in 10 Years of MEMBERSHIP and he's greeted with disdain for having taken the privledge of free choice on what tires he wants on his car. It's his/her car. They pay the band so let them name the tune. I found the tires the OP said on the link in the sizes stated. Not sure why those can't find the rear sizes.

I have 40K on my C7. I don't live right. I have had 3, I repeat 3 flats! It had been years since I had one. I understand the pros and cons, but when I had the last flat I was 67 miles from no where and it was 116 degrees outside. What a life. But those Nitto's look real nice.

I've been conflicted on this one. I hesitated on purchasing the C7 GS because of the fact that the tires looked bald in the showroom. I did, finally, take the plunge and I'm glad I did because the car is awesome. I've always used runflats but my concern on the Michelins is the "Don't drive under 40 degrees" disclaimer. I drive to Florida with my Vette every December but this year I'll be leaving in November to avoid the "temperature issue". I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I had Bridgestone Pole Positions on my 13 GS and loved them. They wore great and, after putting 20k miles on them, they showed very little wear. I'm hoping that Bridgestone comes out with a replacement tire for the C7 GS. We'll see.

Your car, your choice but driving below 40 reduces traction but will not cause cracking etc until lower temps! That is a warning on all, "Summer Only" tires mostly because of reduced traction.
Recall the issue of cracking did not come up for over a year past my first winter in 2013/2014. Then there was a pic of a tire from a Canada C7 that may have been trasported by train as I recall where it went through temps of -40C (-40C = -40F.) Saw that pic reposted many times!
MY Experience Driving Through 4 Winters, FWIW
Granted below about 45 F the traction is reduced. I put the car in Weather mode at those temps and keep it there until I travel ~5 miles when the tires warm up from driving friction. In my case, in Eastern SC seldom have to drive when it's below freezing.
Recall I had a meeting that ended very late one winter night and the car was sitting at about 30 degrees for several hours. Put the car in Weather Mode and drove carefully for 5 to 8 miles and then put the Z51 in Sport where I normally drove. Came to a turn in a rural area, no traffic and gave it more throttle. Nannies came in. Put in back in Weather and and drove the remaining 8 miles home.
Others will note they drive into the low 20's and their tires don't crack but bet they are very careful. Fortunately I will not have to drive my Grand Sport at those temps but my concern would be the reduced traction not surface cracking that only a few have posted has occurred. Even folks who live in Minnesota!
