Wow, I'm so sorry to hear this. He was one of the good guys.

Oh no, so sorry about this sad news. Always enjoyed reading Mike's posts. As others have said, I had not known him personally but it was easy to see Mike was one of the good guys. A tremendous loss for the forum. My condolences to his wife and family.

I just happened to notice that his last post was at 1:56am EDT on Sunday morning, which couldn't have been very long before he passed. He was defending the honor of the BG assembly plant against a silly attack. That's somehow fitting.

I could tell by his posts he was a good man. It's always difficult for family and friends when the good ones leave us.

Sincerest condolences to you and his family.
I'm hoping I can get a little latitude from my fellow moderators for this post. It was just the right place to post.
Good evening all,
It is with great sadness I'm posting tonight on the passing of our Corvette brother and dear friend Mike Puzach, forum member mpuzach. Mike's wife reached out to me a little while ago to let me know. I'm absolutely in shock. Mike was my friend. Mike embodied everything that I love and hold dear about the Corvette lifestyle. He was a friend that I met because of the Corvette and this forum. That friendship grew into emails and dinners when we were together at Corvette events and endless hours on the phone. Mike's passion was the Corvette and equally as importantly, this forum and helping other owners in any way that he could. He would want you all to know. I asked Jana if it was ok to share here and she was grateful.
There aren't a lot of details to share. Mike and Jana went out to dinner with friends on Saturday evening and upon returning home, passed at some point in the night by Sunday morning.
I ask you to please share your stories and rememberences here as I would love to share them with his wife. Please keep her and Mike's family in your thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
Godspeed Mike.
Thanks,
Paul

Jana text me last night at 7pm as well and I am still in shock. I was very close with Mike and always enjoyed our conversations. I will miss him tremendously.

I don't know...If I am going to go, that's probably one of the best ways I can think of. A good dinner with friends and thinking about Corvettes until I go to sleep next to my wife. I am sorry for his wife's loss but happy he went out in peace.

OMG That is so Sad
I never met Mike, although I enjoyed reading his posts and thoughtfulness.
Paul,
I've read you in your posts and admired your expertise for at least 15 years. I would like to thank you and appreciate you for what you do as well.
Sappy as it might sound it stirs up emotion in me, as none of us know where were at in the continuum and give enough appreciation to the fact that tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
I don't think I possess the character or the courage this man did as none of us even knew that his health is suffering.
I would like to extend my sincere sadness to Jana and appreciation for the contribution he made to the forum as it's one of the places that I go to enjoy my hobby vicariously with others.
May Mike Rest In Peace as I will keep him in my prayers.
Kevin
