How do you find the stopping power compared to the original brake pads?

haven't really pushed as of yet but had a couple quicker stops from 70 or so (light turning red) and i couldn't feel a dam difference. but haven't made repeated attempts like an HPDE event?

but the zero dust is absolutely amazing. i just can't believe that's all it took? Heading to Carlisle Thursday, i'll report back if any issues if not you won't hear a peep from me!

^^^ I can't say that there is a significant drop-off in braking either. I love these low brake dust pads. I highly recommend them for anyone who is tired of cleaning wheels.

Default Looks Fantastic!!!

My 16 Z06 Z07 is getting "The Supreme Treatment" right now. He has to have it for about a week. Stage 2 paint correction, full Expel on the front half of the car and Quarts on the whole car inside and out after that. I can only hope it comes out this nice. Hope you have many years of protection and beauty

Really nice. I also like the leather airbag cover quite a bit.

I think you mentioned he used Kamikaze ceramic seal. Why did you/he choose that one?

^^^ Mshaffie was my detailer. He consulted with a guy I feel is a Master Detailer, Todd Cooperider, from Esoteric Car Care and Detail. Todd is a Vendor on the site. Manny and Todd conferred and Todd suggested using the Kamikaze Ceramic Seal on my car.

I left it up to the experts.....

I have a 2017 GS and was thinking about doing the Ceramic coating. Any negative side of doing this? Live in NYC and the car is garaged kept. Thanks in advance for the input.

I don't think so, Bobby. Now, all you have to do is wash the car! And this ceramic coating lasts for 18 to 24 months. There's no need to do anything else but wash your car. It seemed like a good investment to me.

Thanks Steven. I agree with that, so I will now have it done...

Congrats on your decision, Bobby! I thought it was well worth it myself. When I bought the car, I immediately applied 22PLE, which is very similar-it's a liquid glass product. It lasted almost 2 years!

Especially living in Brooklyn, I've got to think this would definitely be a plus. And I've got to think you've got a lot of people in the NYC are that can do the job for you too.

Let me know how things go for you!

^^^Thanks Ken!

As a matter of fact, MShaffie said that he does this work in his garage. He left the garage door open while he was doing my Corvette. Across the street are life-long Ford owners and workers....they worked at the Ford plant here in Kansas City and retired from there 2 years ago.

Manny said, "Steven, your car is an attention getter-even the family from Ford across the street came to look at your car while I was working on it."

Looks great. I am a certified ceramic detailer in Michigan. It typically requires2 to 3 days. Day 1 is preparation ....Day 2 is application and hand buffing... Day 3 is second coat / buff if needed . Three Days in the bay. No sun exposure . I measure paint film builds before day 1 prepping and after prepping with a PosiTector ultrasound. I then use the same instrument after ceramic coatings are applied. If the Vette is local I offer a maintenance plan for proper hand washing, and drying for the next two months.
