This will be my second year and first with my new ZO6 very excited to see everybody from last year what a great time the people there are fantastic the town is just wonderful.
i'm staying at the Comfort downtown with a street view in a suite doesn't get any better than that.
I even threw in Thursday when I was supposed to go Friday Saturday then leave Sunday..
lol wife not so happy about the extra day even though she likes it there. she gets a little bored but I'm going to take it nice and slow this year and take it all in.
and my kids are going this year going to meet us up there...

Don't forget to come over to the Auto Cross course and see what those 'vettes will do on the timed AX course - Thursday, Friday, and Sunday! I'll be probably be working tech, paddock/staging. And don't forget the Saturday evening downtown parade - it's already a record breaker!
Have been going to Corvettes at Carlisle since 2005. I call it the Woodstock for Corvettes. Always great crowds even though the street traffic going into Carlisle has been "light" for the past couple of years. So far, the weather looks like it's going to be great!

I'm fortunate to live an hour away, and I can't remember the last time I didn't make the Corvette show, as I've been attending most Carlisle events since 1986. I've owned a 'Vette for the past 6 years, however this will be the first time as an owner that I haven't taken my car. It is currently in project status being converted to a vintage road racer replica. It'll be finished for certain next year, but I still plan to attend Friday and Saturday to check out all the cars, pick up a few parts, and get some ideas for my project. Then it's off to Watkins Glen in two weeks for the vintage races to see these awesome cars in action! If there are any first time attendees, PM me be I'll be happy to meet up with you to give you some pointers, lay of the land, etc...
Almost done. Started detailing on Sunday. Looking forward to our first Carlisle event. Wish it wasn't 8 hours away though, but must experience this event. Can't wait.
My parents live about 45 minutes from Carlisle so I'm super excited. This will be my first time in a few years.

A friend of mine from Philly area is making the trip! He will be at the Cold storage place off ramp between mile marker 279 and 280 around 8 am. Saturday morning on the Pa turnpike westbound. I might join him.
