The Ford GT while it looks awesome I kinda dislike the car.

I can afford a new Ferrari better then I could a new GT that's if they would let me buy one.

Good job Ford on making the GT unreachable for the upper middle class that's reaching for the dream car.

Absolutely gorgeous. Car isn't bad, either.

Well done, HRE. Well done.

The old one was maybe "upper middle class" attainable, at least when it came out, but they did what they did with the new one... sent it straight to ultra exotic/pure collector land.

As such, I guess I'll be the outlier and say that aftermarket stuff doesn't belong on this car. Also that setup looks like it would be rubbing with any minor compression of the suspension..?

I wouldn't personally modify a car like that for fear of upsetting the intense engineering behind it... but it does look incredible.

'Maybe upper middle class - with no kids'. Wife and I are 'upper middle class' but with two kids there's no way I'm buying a $150k garage queen. A $25k garage queen yes, lol.

think you are a little off on the price. Not $150k, try $450k+...

Yep they go for $300k all day depending on options......only newer car to do that or at least a select few to do that, and not depreciate.

One other that comes to mind is the Porsche 911R. They were around $200K when new a couple of years ago (if you could get one). Now they are priced in the $400-500K range.

That was a case of deliberately keeping production low.

Few manufacturers can pull that trick off.
