Default Z51 side emblems opinion

Hi Guys,

Recently I bought a beautiful '14 Z51, which already came with the Z51 side emblems. I'm not sure how they look the way they were placed close by to the stock Stingray emblems. Don't know if I leave them that way or to remove the Stingrays. Please advise

I think the z51 emblems look terrible there, I'd take them off.

Honestly, I'd pull the Z51 emblems. Put them on the rocker or somewhere or leave them off... they look "randomly stuck on" by the previous owner.

You can likely get them off with dental floss or fishing line.

My car's a Z06 and, like the Z51, doesn't say that anywhere obvious.

Take 'em off. Have never understood why folks feel they need to advertise that their car has the Z51 option.

If Z51 was a model like Stingray, Grand Sport or Z06, that's one thing, but it's just a suspension package. Nowadays I think most C7s have that package so it would be like putting a NPP exhaust sticker on mine.

It's not a bad looking emblem, but the placement is....I'd pull them off. Leave the Stingray though. IMHO, it looks good.

Hunter, the first 2 pictures seem like the Z51 is a C6 style (a la the ZO6 logo used for that generation).

The last picture replaces the Stingray, which I'm not in favor of. Here's what I did with mine.....

Looks silly. Especially placement. Z51 is a package, not a model.
People that don't know corvette may be like ohhhhhh he has a z51
Ones that know corvettes will be like, LOL. He's trying to hard.

Z51 also includes the dry sump engine, performance gear ratios, electronic differential, larger brakes with slotted rotors, heavy duty cooling and differential and transmission coolers.

Virtually everyone has a dry sump, at least the 17 models

I noticed your Z51 emblem placement the other day from your detail thread photos. Looks like the perfect spot.... classy.

Thanks Guys, I think I better remove both Z51 emblems, maybe I would place just one of them on the rear right side of the bumper or on the rear right side of the spoiler.

IMO, the Z51 emblem that you have doesn't belong ANYWHERE on a C7. The emblem that Steven has looks much more appropriate for a C7.

All of it looks bad... just take off everything on that fender.... the best look is that clean look. Less is more.

I bought the stickers that attach to the fender vent. These are fairly popular with those that have a Z51. At cars and coffee, I've seen several.

IMO, I would pull them off of the car.

But it's your car, do what you want..
