Default Kudos to Spring Mountain

I was scheduled to attend the owner's school in Spring Mountain this week. However, tragedy struck and has changed my plans. I am a police chief and last week one of my officers was shot and killed while off duty. Saturday, another officer died after a long battle with cancer. My department is taking it very hard and I am involved in planning and speaking at the funerals. Needless to say, I had to call to cancel the school.

The folks at Ron Fellows were so gracious in moving me to a different date in October. I'll be in the Holiday Inn instead of in a resort room, but I'm there for the driving experience anyway. They were extremely nice about the entire thing. Kudos to the staff there.

Chief, I truly am sorry about your losses. I'm in Law Enforcement as well for 26 years in South Florida. We just lost several to cancer. Tough times for us in the LEO community.

Default Follow Up

I attended Ron Fellows this week and had a terrific time. It was very enjoyable and professional, as many have noted.

One of the instructors said at the end that I'd be ready for Level 2 (skipping Level 1), and they also said that they offer recent graduates a discount. If the discount is good enough, I might be interested. It was really a blast.
