Why didn't the do this presentation at Carlisle and GM couldn't spend the money to paint a car with the new orange. It appears advertising the Corvette is not a top priority for upper management and it is cheaper letting social media to do it for them.

The plant manager and assistant plant manager are overseeing a major overhaul at the plant right now. They were able to slip away for a presentation at the NCM (across the street from the plant) but being at Carlisle this year would have been irresponsible. They are also fine still fine tuning the paint process, plus they were not online with the new paint shop prior to the assembly line being removed for retooling. I actually wouldn't be surprised if we see a ZR1 reveal in orange to showcase both the new color and the new paint shop capabilities.
