Always wave. However with today's tinted windows and A/C, it's hard to tell if they're waiving back.

Absolutely wave! It's long-standing tradition -- and the only way the newbies will learn it is to experience it. Do a search on any of these forums and you'll find it well-entrenched. I find it even more satisfying as my current Vette slowly transitions from latest and greatest to aging gracefully (if not quietly!).

we need a "History of the Corvette wave" thread

OP, i love the wave.. the real question is how often do you wave while at a Corvette event lol... Carlisle was an odd experience in the vette. whenever i DIDN'T wave, they waved and I was LATE!!

This. I think most people will/would wave it just may not be timely.

I used to waive but stopped after most people never waved back. We have some snobs in my area. I love my Corvette but I don't have the desire to be in a CLUB and I'm not a fanboi of Corvettes. If I found something better that came along for the money my Z06 would be up for sale eventually!

Always wave... but I must say, I'm surprised by the number that don't return the wave.

At Carlisle I just kept my arm out the window. I don't see many vettes in my neck of the woods. As I get closer to downtown Philly I see a few, but I'm usually not in my
vette. I do wave, but sadly it's not often returned. We have a Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler owners always wave. It's so many around here, it's almost impossible to wave at all of them.
